Atelier Sanne is a private, unsubsidised initiative involved in the visual arts and art education. This is our seventh year in the impressive old school building on the Westerstraat in the Jordaan where we have three characteristic studios. As well as the programmed courses Atelier Sanne also provides Workshops for Businesses and Parties, Children’s Activities, School Programmes and Open Model-Drawing Sessions
Atelier Sanne offers artists the opportunity to work individually from a model in the open studio. Artists and advanced students, but also beginners who wish to train their abilities, can just show up and take part. There is no instruction just someone who organises the session. A number of sessions are scheduled each week. Easels and tables are available - you bring your own paper, drawing or painting materials.
