Artists as (Public) Intellectuals considers how the definition of the term “intellectual” in a broader sense might be expanded by thinking of artists as “knowledge producers” and thus as a type of intellectual, and discusses the ethical, political, and social implications of defining artists in this way.

Screening of filmmaker and writer Trinh T. Minh-ha’s most recent film followed by a public reading of one of her texts.

1 October until 24 December 2006, Wednesday–Saturday 12.00–17.00 hrs and Sunday 13.00–17.00 hrs. The exhibition's opening hours are extended on Saturday 25 November, Saturday 2 December, Saturday 9 December and Saturday 16 December from 12.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs.
