Amsterdam’s night mayor Chiel van Zelst has been up to lots of good things lately. Not too long ago, I remember riding past his hangout / exhibition space the Chiellerie on my BMX and seeing lots of weird bikes. I hopped in for a second, only to find out that my beloved BMX isn’t even close to being the most extravagant bike in this city.

This time around, Chiel has come up with his own twist on street art. He’s challenging a group of street artists to battle one another; all artists will get their own wall and will proceed to work towards each other, creating one big masterpiece in the process.

How the hell do you decide who wins this kind of battle? I have no clue, but Chiel does: he has brought together a trustworthy panel of judges. Hop in for free and see how this masterpiece is created!

Vrijdag 25 augustus vanaf 17 uur live art direct op de muur met begeleiding door DJs acts en optredens. Plus het hele uitmarkt-weekend open van 12.00 tot 21.00 uur open. Aan het eind van het weekend worden er prijzen uitgedeeld voor de beste, leukste, slechtste en meest walgelijke straatkunstenaar
