The inaugural South African Write4Gold event featured all hip-hop elements, from graffiti and breakdancing, to DJs and MC battles, and participants that did their utmost to exhibit their creativity.
In the graffiti section, it was a battle of the heavyweights, with crews like Jo'burg's TEA and NME, and WOA from Cape Town.
We need more female participation in these events - there were only two women, graffiti artist Faith47, and one b-girl (couldn't get her name).
