On the 5th and 6th of April 2008 the annual museumweekend takes place. This year’s theme is ‘the art of truth’. Museums in the Netherlands invite everyone to come and see how confusing ‘real’ can be and how many different truths surrounding a painting or object can be ‘true’.
Foam puts the focus on the exhibitions of Tyran Simon and Daniel & Geo Fuch. The search for truth in both exhibitions fits the theme of this museumweekend perfectly.
During the museumweekend the entrance to FOAM is free.

Speaking of "the art of truth" ...there is no English language information. Only Dutch speakers are invited. This is standard Amsterdam procedure to restrict limited resources to native residents only. Keeps the tourists out.
The museums are free this weekend, they will be very busy.
