PinXit April Newsletter

Greetings
Famous When Dead Gallery has opened its doors last month. Here a brief overview what's coming up and some dates you might want to add to your calendar.

PERMISSABLE ART
Firstly a reminder about the public forum this Sunday.

City of Melbourne and Cultural Development Network invite to a public discussion about graffiti in the city, its place in urban culture and its regulation by local government.

Panelists include Cr David Wilson, artist Ghostpatrol, Andy MacDonald, director of Citylights Projects, Fiona McLeod from the Hardware Precinct Residents Association and Alison Young, Uni Melbourne, who was responsible for drafting City of Melbourne's Graffiti Policy. This should be an interesting discussion.

This Sunday, 6 April, 3.30 - 5 pm
Famous When Dead Gallery
207 Victoria St, West Melbourne
Melway 2B A11, Tram 57 Stop 9

The forum is in context to the Union Lane Street Art project exhibition LEGAL ENOUGH which is currently being shown at the gallery. Check it out, or visit the lane itself:
UNION LANE, between Bourke St Mall and Lt Collins St
Info and video about the project, which we finished in December last year, can be found here.

XIAO JIE WANG : TRACES OF LIFE
